Trip to Savannah
In Savannah, we stayed at the lovely Kehoe House, a historic home that is now a bed and breakfast.
We stayed in the Pierpont Room, named after James Pierpont who wrote "Jingle Bells."
Some of my favorites:
A beautiful cemetery near the B&B:
The headstones on the wall were originally over the graves that a street currently runs over.
Stunning Churches:

A Trip To the Port
I had the opportunity of a lifetime to visit the Port of Charleston and have a tour on a cargo ship. I found it incredibly fascinating to understand how so many products end up in our stores!
A view of the OOCL Vessel we got to board
The Container Yard
Cargo Vessel Unloading and Loading
The BIG OOCL
Welcome Aboard the "OOCL Norfolk!"
A Better View
Beautiful Low Country View
On the ship, the First Mate showed us how the vessel balance controls work
He swore that it was easy to keep it balanced!
A program showing the containers on board
The Engine Room (check out the spare piston in the back!)
How's the weather Captain Yang?
Who let this dork drive the boat???
How the boxes are all loaded one by one:
Bon Voyage! Happy sailing to Rotterdam!
